Abigail Taylor-Sansom is a writer with a passion for creating work that is immersive, inventive, and above all, entertaining. Her projects span a wide variety of formats — from musical theater to alternate reality games to attractions at Walt Disney World. Highlights from her eclectic and adventurous career include traveling over 6,000 miles by train as an Amtrak Writer in Residence, showrunning murder mystery games for Hunt A Killer, and making magic as a Walt Disney Imagineer.

Over the years, she has helped craft story-driven experiences for a diverse collection of IPs — from iconic franchises like The Muppets, Frozen, Finding Nemo, The Princess and the Frog, Ratatouille, National Geographic, and Lionsgate Horror, to brands like Starbucks, Coca-Cola, Pandora Jewelry, SC Johnson, and Mars Inc.

After completing her most recent collaboration with Disney in 2023, Abigail became the Head Writer at UNSHUT. Backed by investors like Sequoia Capital, UNSHUT’s fearless and innovative team conjures up bespoke immersive experiences that blend virtual reality, live performances, and cutting-edge AI.

In addition to her own creative work, Abigail is a Professor of Dramatic Writing at Savannah College of Art and Design, where she teaches writing for immersive and interactive media on the SCADnow virtual campus. She resides in New Orleans.
